The SuperKids Fun Run is Friday, October 19th, 2012 at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center. Our young runners need to be registered by 5:15 on Friday. Sign up your child (ages 3-10) for the Kids' Fun Run.

Four age divisions and two routes – all finishing at the official finish line. Every child will feel a sense of accomplishment just like our adult runners. Pre-registered children running Friday at 5:30 p.m. will receive a t-shirt and a medal. A first place finisher will be recognized at the awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m. in four age groups: 3-4; 5-6; 7-8; and 9-10.

Entry fee is $15 per child and includes a t-shirt, medal, pasta push-off dinner and entry to the runners’ celebration activities. All participants will receive a medal at the official Neuse River Bridge Run finish line. Children must be registered to participate and should report to the start area 15 minutes prior to their start time.

The younger children have a straight-forward rectangle to run and it is .17 miles. The older children have a more challenging route with extra turns that totals nearly .5 miles because they repeat the route.
